The 2020 election is shaping up to be a turning point for America. I tried before writing this to think of stirring words to arouse an apathetic conservative base. But I can’t. We all have families, jobs, religious beliefs and interests to focus on. But to liberals (they like to call themselves progressives now) government is their god. They worship it and want to grow it at all levels, whether it’s a draconian zoning ordinance in Antigo to fight global warming or a nationwide gun confiscation program running out of Washington D.C. If it’s more government, the better it is. Of course, they expect to control the big government they’ll create. Nothing like being made a local commissar, as in the old Soviet Union a mini dictator position, to fill their human want of power. They want and will take what you have, from your property to your free speech and as socialism progresses maybe even your life. You think I’m exaggerating? Hollywood has already made two movies about killing conservatives for sport.

The Democrats whose party platform now differs little from that of the American Communist Party will be going all out to defeat President Trump. The Democrats with their billionaire supporters will have a limitless supply of campaign funds and are planning to have 20,000 activists on board in Wisconsin for the election. This election will, if the Democrats win, likely be our last free election. It’s clear they will weaponize the Justice Department, FBI and

IRS to shutdown conservative speech. Benjamin Franklin at the close of the Constitutional Convention in 1787 was asked what form of government we will have. He answered, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” Can we keep it? We’ll find out on November 3, 2020.
