Peaceful Protestors Arrested For Praying Outside Of Pelosi’s Office

By mommyunderground.com

A group of pro-life activists found out just how unwilling Pelosi’s office was to hear any dissent against abortion legislation.

These pro-lifers arranged a sit-in which started in Pelosi’s office and then moved into the hallway.

But instead of being allowed to voice their opinions, they were met with backlash, some even being arrested.

After respectfully speaking out for those who can’t speak for themselves, the group left the office and remained in the hallway.

Showing their true heart was to advocate for babies in a peaceful way, the group began to sing Amazing Grace.

Other pro-lifers felt the strong need to pray for Nancy Pelosi and for the abortion industry to end, so they kneeled down in front of her office to pray.

But the Capitol Police weren’t having it.

They threatened to arrest the pro-lifers if they didn’t stop praying and leave.

A few faithful (9 to be exact) refused to stop praying, and were led away in handcuffs by the police.

They ended up being arrested.

The protestors were strategic about the day they chose to head to Capitol Hill.

Calling themselves the #PurpleSashRevolution, these protestors decided to go to Pelosi’s office on the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade – a day that legally allowed millions of babies to be slaughtered.

They hoped to bring attention to a bill which was drafted to protect babies who survived abortions – but Pelosi wants nothing to do with the bill.

According to Life News, the proaborts in the House refuse to vote on a bill that would give proper medical treatment to a baby who survived an abortion.

Even young pro-life students joined the cause!

Life News reported:

“It should be common-sense and completely bipartisan to support any bill banning infanticide. Democrats have become so extreme that they are even stalling a vote that protects innocent babies born alive during an abortion. We are calling on Speaker Pelosi to allow a vote immediately to protect the rights infants born during an abortion. Abandoning a child born during an abortion is inhumane and should be unthinkable and illegal,” said Stephanie Stone, Capital Area Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America.”

It’s a chilling reality the fact peaceful Americans petitioning their government can be arrested, simply for praying in a hallway.

There were no physical threats, no violence, just a group of Christians speaking out against infanticide and giving a voice to all the babies who don’t yet have their own voice.

Even more horrifying, the fact that Democrats are so against pro-life measures, they won’t even allow a vote which protects babies who survive a botched abortion.

The battle of life rages on, but the encouraging news is the next generation of leaders are overwhelmingly pro-life.

Media outlets might not cover what takes place, but the streets were filled during the March For Life with pro-lifers speaking up for innocent babies.

Cheers to the pro-life activists who are brave enough to stand up for what they believe in, whatever the price.
