Melissa Young: Our Wisconsin Treasure

Her spellbinding tale of life and Donald Trump’s generosity tell the real truth of the President’s character

By Steve Welcenbach

On November 16th the Wisconsin Conservative Political Education Conference (CPEC) took place at the Hampton Inn, West Allis Wisconsin. The well-organized event (thanks to Bob and Jean Dohnal, MC Robin Moore, Chris Lawrence and several other contributing individuals) featured several topics, ranging from what’s happening in federal and state legislatures, election data analysis, strategy for the 2020 elections, followed by candidate campaign training.

But the jewel of the conference came forth around noon when

Melissa Young took the stage. This former Miss Wisconsin of 2005 immediately stunned the 200 plus participants with her statement “Mr. Trump literally saved my life.” She proceeded to let us in on how this took place in very personal detail. A dropped pin would’ve sounded like and atomic bomb in that room.

Melissa also recounted how she came from an impoverished background to realize her dream of becoming Miss Wisconsin and competing in the Miss USA pageant. Mr. Trump owned the pageant at that time and, being unanimously voted Miss Congeniality, got a chance to meet Mr. Trump on a more personal level. Establishing that connection proved to be essential in her struggle to stay alive for her beloved son Jack.

Due to medical incompetence, a normally treatable condition morphed into a terminal illness, During her pregnancy with Jack, she repeatedly articulated several symptoms of her condition to her physician, but he shrugged them off as first pregnancy neurosis. Not until shortly before Melissa’s due date did the doctor finally order some tests which clearly displayed the truth. Unfortunately for Melissa, his untimely actions doomed her to a course few human beings could endure.

Yet to this day Melissa remains with us. Thank you Lord God for sending this Angel into the world. Her story continues on as does her important influence on the rest of us. Please buy her book and read it as soon as you can - you will thank yourself for doing just that. I effortlessly read the copy I bought for my daughter in 5 days. But don’t take my word for it. Read the review someone posted on line I’ve included here. If that doesn’t convince you, nothing will.
