Herman Cain has been to Wisconsin many times. He was a featured speaker at the Defending the American Dream summit last March at the Chula Vista resort in Wisconsin Dells. He attended many Tea Parties and candidate support events in the last two years. He came to Madison this February to stand with us on the steps of our state Capitol to support Governor Walker and the courageous Wisconsin Legislature in the face of the marauding mob.
Yes, we know Herman Cain quite well. And we love him.
We love his principles. We love his accomplishments. We love his life stories that have made him the man that he is.
He is honest. He is experienced. He is a man of integrity. And he sure can talk.
And he is exactly what the Republican Party needs.
Not just to beat Barack Obama but to provide the leadership and political courage needed to move forward an agenda to restore American Exceptionalism and a constitutional Federal government. As we have seen in Madison, implementing this agenda will be a very tough and politically bloody fight.
Here are the top five reasons Herman Cain becomes the next President of the United States:
1) He truly believes in America and articulates it like no one else. Like Ronald Reagan, this gift is his most devastating political weapon. He displayed a bit of this ability in the first GOP debate in Greenville, SC.
2) He has no political or personal baggage. Cain has never held political office. He owes no one any political favors. There are no examples of inconsistent votes or political expediency. His family life reflects his deep belief in God. His commitment to his wife, children and grandchildren is exemplary.
3) He has the experience base and leadership qualities we need. His work experience including CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, a Federal Reserve executive at the Kansas City branch in the 1990’s, an ongoing entrepreneur and his many years as a radio talk show host are a perfect combination for the REAL job of president. He has the right ideas about what we need to get in place to assure our future, focusing on reversing the Leftist policies of energy strangulation and wealth redistribution through income taxation.
4) He’s not afraid of anyone or anything. Cain will take it to anyone at anytime. He does not confine himself with political correctness. He lives his principles so he doesn’t have to worry about buried lies. He knows who he is, what he believes, and why he believes it. His personality, enthusiasm and sincerity are infectious.
5) The Left has no answer for him. Herman Cain is the Left’s worst nightmare. An articulate black man with a true belief in America. He will destroy the cult of personality of Barack Obama. He will energize voters not accessible to GOP candidates of the past. And the pundits that like to place groups of people in little boxes will lose their minds.
That is a pretty good list. But I will add one more intangible, which I think could be the thing that puts him over the top.
His chief of staff is our own Mark Block, the former Wisconsin Director of Americans for Prosperity who took that organization from 3000 to 100,000 members in three short years. If Mark can help out Herman Cain in any way similar to what he accomplished here in Wisconsin, Herman is in great shape. Mark’s genius already has made an enormous impact. Let’s hope they can keep it going.
